RECOVERED notes:
Spaulding the Poet traveled the Murderverse with a carnival infamous for its midnight performances. His jokes were filthy, his poems cruel, and each punchline ended with someone disappearing from the audience. This portrait hung outside his tent, where its painted grin reportedly grew wider after every show. No one ever asked what happened backstage.
